Sainik School Bhubaneswar has a very strong and active Alumini Association which is the backbone of the younger generation. The school maintains close touch with its old boys who are the pride of this premier institution.Till the date the School has more than 600 commissioned officers,Civil Service officers,Media persons,Politicians and above 150 doctors. It is our pleasure to annouce that Lt Gen J K Mohanty, Lt Gen KPD Samant, Air Marshal JK Bhan,Major Gen P Rath are the exemplary defence officers who are the alumini cadets of this school. These worthy sons of soil are not only the pride of Orissa but also the pride of the entire nation. The efficient civil service officers like Sri Madhusudan Padhi IAS, Sri Srikant paikray IAS,Sri N Sundaray IAS,Sri Sanjeev Mishra,Sri Dilip Padhy(technocrat) are highly praise worthy in the state. It is a matter of great appreciation that due to the joint efforts of Obeans a "Martyres Memorial"has been constructed in the school premices in the memory of those alumini's who sacrified their lives for the sake of the nation.
